For this magical production, I created a 2-sided realistic custom gravestone and a remote-controlled tinkerbell lighting effect.
This remote control only changes the power level of the effect, although a more complicated remote could have easily been created if required.
The effect itself takes up about 6"x6"x1".
The remote includes positive feedback, the green light seen in the above video blinks when the effect being controlled responds that it has received a command, so the light operator can tell ahead of time if there is a communication issue or the practical effect has not been turned on.
The gravestone was hand-carved from styrofoam, smoothed out with a foam fill, painted and textured with real sand.
